SunSense

Building new customer revenues through ecommerce.

SunSense, owned by Australian brand Ego, required a new eCommerce platform to support its direct sales. In the context of shrinking NHS budgets and consumers looking for sun protection recommended by healthcare professionals, Truth was tasked with designing and developing a new platform for the UK team whilst supporting a wider campaign for sun protection.

Concurrently, the client also needed a strategic campaign to support traffic to the site via on and offline channels. Truth devised a launch campaign to tackle both consumer education on the potential damage from UV rays, and support the product benefits.

The LUV campaign (Less UltraViolet) delivered a playful execution with a more serious underlying message to support the UK consumer understanding of the everpresent UV rays even on a cloudy day…

Within 12 months of the new site launching, direct sales to consumers replaced the lost revenues from the HCP community.
